Deposit of $50 reserves you a 1/2 grass fed pasture raised Dorper lamb from Hallow Acres.
A contract will be emailed to you to sign upon purchase. Deposit will be applied to final total.
Lamb is $7.50 per lb hanging weight.
Half Lamb Deposit
The lambs are sold “on the hoof'' and are sold as living animals. Hallow Acres LLC will maintain and care for the animal until the time of harvest.
The shares are priced to reflect the final “hanging weight” of the finished lamb, not inclusive of processing. You can expect to pay $7.50 / lb to Hallow Acres for the hanging weight of the finished lamb. The lamb share cost does not include slaughter and processing costs, which are discussed below.

The cost of processing will be billed to you separately by Backroad Meats and will depend on the variety of cuts and packaging selected. The finishing costs are dependent on the processor and may vary year to year based on processor changes. This fee will be billed by the processor at the time of pickup.
It is the members responsibility to arrange a prompt pick up from the processor, as the processor may apply fees if meat is not picked up promptly after processing is complete. The processor may set a number of days in which they are willing to store the meat. Hallow Acres is not able to store the members' meat. If you need help arranging pickup from the processor please contact Hallow Acres and we can try to help you.
With the purchase of a deposit, Hallow Acres will email you a contract to be signed promptly. Should the buyer default on this contract, the deposit will not be refunded, although it can be credited to another buyer if the member who signs this agreement makes that arrangement.
Should Hallow Acres LLC not be able to deliver this order, the full deposit will be refunded by December 31, 2026. In this situation, Hallow Acres LLC will be limited in responsibility to refund money paid.
